Heene Worthing

Let’s be upfront about it – we’re biased! Our office sits close to the Heene area in Worthing, and it’s no coincidence. We deliberately chose this location for good reason. In our opinion, the Heene area is one of the best spots in the entire town, and here’s why we love it:

Transport: We have easy access to the coastal road, as well as the A259, A27, and A24 (though we’ll admit, crossing the railway line can sometimes be a bit of a challenge). Plus, we’re spoiled for choice with Worthing or West Worthing main line railway stations, both offering free or cheap car parking nearby.

Education: There are some excellent schools in the vicinity. Heene First and Elm Grove Primary are among the most sought-after in town, feeding into highly-regarded secondary schools.

Shopping: You’ll find numerous independent and supermarket stores dotted around the area. For a touch of artistic flair, explore Rowlands Road with its galleries, antique shops, and gift boutiques.

Social Life: With an abundance of pubs, bars, and restaurants nearby, there’s always a great evening out waiting for you. Plus, being on the border of Worthing town centre means a leisurely five-minute stroll along the seafront lands you in the heart of the action.

Property: Heene offers something for everyone, from studio flats in charming Edwardian or Victorian buildings to spacious detached and semi-detached houses, purpose-built apartments, and even the occasional bungalow. It boasts perhaps the most diverse housing stock in the area.

The Sea: Heene Road itself leads you straight to the picturesque West Worthing seafront, with its stunning coastline, inviting promenade, parks, and children’s playgrounds. The fresh sea air is a constant, free companion, available 365 days a year.

If the Heene area sounds like your kind of place, you’ve made a good choice.
